Origami Fish- Kickstart

Today is teachers day for us in Saint Patrick’s School so I decided to look for the Summer learning journey activities. I chose the origami fish activity because it’s easy and it doesn’t take a lot of time.

Now if you are wondering how to get a square as the person started with a square, don’t worry! Just lightly pinch the top right hand corner of A4 paper like this:

  (Ignore my finger)

After that step, cut the paper to look like this/a triangle:

(sorry if it’s the other way around)

Then, just open it up to get a square!

Making the whole fish, especially the eyes is pretty easy as you just have to pause the video. The part I loved about making the origami fish is the tail. It can be harder than the other parts of the fish, but once you understand what you did wrong, it can be easy. Because it won’t load, click this link to see the fish.

My Ramadan and Ein Colouring

This is my picture that I coloured for Summer Learning Journey 2022. I coloured it with different colours. Facts about my picture:

It is actually a coloured plate that was used as a potting wheel. It was used in North India in towns and cities.

It was used to collect leftover water from plants.

This is my picture I coloured, it looks different than the original one.
